Purpose of RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated Bahasa Melayu (BM) teacher who is passionate about nurturing young minds. As a BM teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering students' proficiency and appreciation for the Malay language and culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver lessons that are engaging and aligned with standard curricula.
Utilize various learning mediums to accommodate different student learning preferences.
Inspire and motivate students to strive for excellence and foster their self-directed learning abilities.
Assess student performance and design learning plans within a safe environment.
Comply with teaching standards and legal requirements.
Adapt teaching styles to student needs and provide additional support when needed.
Participate in co-curricular activities and attend parent-teacher conferences.
Skills, Qualifications and ExperienceAppropriate degree and teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor's Degree with teaching qualification).
At least two years of teaching experience in the relevant subject in IGCSE syllabus.
Strong commitment and passion for education.
PC literate and able to use multimedia resources in the classroom.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in written and verbal English and BM.
A team player and flexible to meet the needs of the school.
