The position of translator requires the translation of local language content into English. The translator must provide a consistently high standard of translation quality and the work must be completed within defined time frames. The translator must write sentences that maintain or duplicate the structure and style of the original meaning while keeping the ideas and facts of the original meaning accurate. The translator should not specialize in certain subjects – but must be able to translate across all general subjects.

Maintain a high level of understanding of all client's translation needs. Able to adapt to the needs of clients. Customize where necessary. Clearly communicates & escalates work issues that arise Tertiary Qualifications are preferred but not essential. Proven capability in hands-on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas, identify the root causes of problems and generate good solutions. Minimum 2 years in translating. Experience delivering to strict deadlines with minimal supervision. Attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Collaborative and willing to share knowledge. Exceptionally well presented and professional. Enthusiastic approach – "can-do" positive attitude. Computer literacy - MS Word and Excel, Databases. Able to adapt quickly to new technology. Excellent writing skills and command of grammar. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
