Business Need / Purpose of Role The Accounts Payable Team Lead is responsible for timely and accurately processing of invoices and payments.
Carry out all responsibilities in a manner consistent with the strategic direction and financial context of Inchcape.
Involve in transition project from several country to BPO team and assist line manager to lead the team.
Reporting to BPO AR / AP Supervisor APAC?the role shall be primarily?managing the?daily operations functions?and workload management and distribution?within the accounts team.
What you'll do: Support line manager in management of Accounts Payable function, lead a small/medium team Responsible for ensuring all AP accounting are completely accounted for month-end close purpose, within the stipulated time frame.
Support month-end close issues before the close, eg AP reconciliation activities before the close and proactively resolve any issues before month-end close.
Maintain AP policies and SOP procedures Review and ensure that scheduled payment runs are executed timely with approval Review and aged open blocked invoices to ensure proper action/follow-up is completed with resolutions Who you are: years' experience related work experience in multi-national companies, ideally who have worked in a Shared Service Center.
Good communication skills and a good command of the local language and English (oral and written).
A problem solver, who can work in unstructured and complex environment Team leader with strong leadership and interpersonal skills; Candidate must be comfortable to independently attend to and solve problems.
