Job Description: System Management:Develop and implement the organization's Management Information System in alignment with business objectives.Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions.Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the information systems.2. Data Management:
Manage the collection, storage, and retrieval of data to support business processes.Implement and maintain data quality and integrity standards.Design and implement data backup and recovery procedures.3. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of MIS professionals, providing guidance and support.Collaborate with other departments to understand their information system needs and ensure seamless integration.4. New Project Management:
Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new IT projects and systems across the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.Manage project budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful outcomes.Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify lessons learned for future improvements.5. Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's information assets.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.6. HQ IT Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues at the headquarters.Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services and support contracts.Ensure the security and integrity of data systems through regular backups, updates, and monitoring.7. Digitalization Transformation for HQ and Restaurants:
Lead digitalization efforts to streamline operations and enhance customer experience across headquarters and restaurant locations.Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using technology solutions.Implement digital tools and platforms to optimize workflows, inventory management, and customer relationship management.Train staff members on the use of new digital tools and technologies to maximize efficiency and productivity.8. POS System Management:
Oversee the management and maintenance of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems across all restaurant locations.Coordinate with vendors to ensure the smooth functioning of POS hardware and software.Implement POS system upgrades and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.Generate reports and analyze POS data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.9. ERP Project:
9.1 Project Management
Lead the end-to-end implementation of ERP systems, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and KPIs for ERP success.Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to management, addressing potential risks and issues.9.2 System Implementation & Integration
Manage all stages of ERP implementation, including data migration, system configuration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Oversee seamless integration of ERP modules across departments, ensuring alignment with business processes.Develop and enforce data management policies to maintain data integrity throughout the ERP system.9.3 Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with departments (Finance, Central Kitchen, Operations, etc.) to tailor the ERP system to meet unique departmental needs.Act as a liaison between end-users and ERP vendors to ensure the system fulfils functional requirements.Provide user training and support to enhance system adoption and user confidence.9.4 System Optimization & Troubleshooting
Monitor ERP performance and optimize system functionality to improve operational efficiency.Troubleshoot system issues and manage vendor relationships for timely issue resolution.Evaluate and recommend ERP system upgrades or modifications based on evolving business needs.9.5 Documentation & Compliance
Maintain detailed documentation of ERP system architecture, user guidelines, and SOPs.Ensure the ERP implementation aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements, focusing on data security.9.6 Reporting & Data Analysis
Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making and performance tracking.Leverage ERP data to provide insights on process improvements and operational efficiencies.10. Training and Development:
Develop training programs for staff to enhance their proficiency in using information systems.Stay current with industry trends and advancements, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.Job Requirement: Experience in managing information systems, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial role.Experience with POS systems, database management, digitalization initiatives, and implementation. Direct experience in Retail or Food & beverage chain is preferred.Able to work in Ulu Tiram, Johor Bahru.
