Job DescriptionSpecific Role Description:Includes the following but not limited to:
Lead all NPI builds and commit the schedule to POM.
Lead/Manage the safe passage of eSSD/cSSD product from development to production environment.
Manage the plan, resources, time and tasks of the NPI cross functional teams, coordinating the completion of milestones with critical product development program goals and available resources.
Develop ramp up plan for new products and conduct manufacturing readiness reviews (MRR) & postmortem.
Supervise the readiness activities, communicating and driving priorities, and resolving technical, resources and other issues with cross functional teams to facilitate achieving the overall business goals.
Facilitate phase review vs gating criteria (design to HVM – target yields, test time/UPH, Cpk, DPPM, Capacity, Materials, etc).
Facilitate the transition of NPI handoff to sustaining Core Team for new products. Official hand-off will happen upon LPR.
Develops and presents program status and review information (One Stop Product Health Dashboard) to department/corporate groups resulting in influencing the direction or decisions.
Overall manufacturing process knowledge New Product Introduction experience.
Qualifications Requirements:The NPI-PM team embodies a high performance culture, marked by highly analytical, attention-to-details, hyper-productive, highly hands-on individuals. They work together to solve difficult problems. They possess the elusive "complete ownership" characteristic and have strong engineering pride, always willing to go above and beyond.
Education:BS engineering/science required, 4 years plus of relevant work experiences. Relevant work experience must be in program management engineering role within semiconductor industry. Academic studies must be in applicable field of engineering/science and demonstrate an academic record of excellence.
Experience:Demonstrated track record of managing/leading a program in planning, executing & delivering NPI programs from conceptual phase to volume production release. Demonstrated track record leading a core team in solving complex engineering issues by pursuing a focused solution path with a clear understanding of the point of diminishing returns. Demonstrated track record to summarize complex data sets for technical and non-technical audiences.
Skills:Highly self-motivated and self-directed with demonstrated ability to work well with people; have strong inter-cultural intuition. Proven success leading technical team(s) in previous work experience. Strong verbal & written communications skills and presentation skills.
