Job DescriptionThe Manager, Account Development for NIQ will provide global leading information services and products to our clients, mostly in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
Our data offers comprehensive and timely information on market shares and category penetration, competitive sales volumes, and insights into distribution, pricing, merchandising, and promotion.
By combining this detailed information with our professional consultative services, we offer valuable insights and expertise that help consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands and retailers improve their manufacturing, marketing and sales decisions.
The role will be working in the commercial team.ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementOwn the client relationship and lead the client engagement for the assigned accounts by having a strong understanding of their business prioritiesFoster relationships at all levels and functions of the client organization to identify opportunities for incremental product/solution salesWork with the Customer Success team to ensure client service standards are deliveredBusiness DevelopmentProvide relevant product solutions that answer client business issues/opportunitiesDevelop a winning sales framework for retaining current and approaching new clients Work on strategy and approach to win back lapsed clientsLaunch and introduce new services in the market to drive adoption among clientsBuild a strong pipeline through regular engagement with clientsBuild the company's positive image through active participation in professional associations and industry conferences/seminarsContribute to the short-term strategies and business plans for the growth of the business unit based on the global and regional direction Financial ManagementAchieve key financial metrics: revenue, profitability, and cash collection, as well as other related business development objectivesEnsure proper pricing and contracts are applied according to the company's policies and guidelinesUnderstand the company's financial guidelines such as forecast and pipeline managementUse sales technology and digital tools to do work efficiently by recording prospects, forecast pipelines and converting salesMonitor the actual financial performance against budget/forecast and ensure the implementation of actions that will lead to the achievement of the targetsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in the related fieldMinimum 3-5 years experience in Commercial, Business Development, Market Research, or consulting agencies;Prior working experience with Consumer Packaged Goods/ FMCG accounts would be an advantage;Has knowledge of research techniques and methodologies;Has strong analytical skills and business commercial acumen;High communication skills (communicating with clients, partners, and thought leadership both inside and outside the company).
