Job summary:
To analyze and evaluate business opportunities to prospect for potential clients and manage the pitching and onboarding of new clients in line with business objectives to accelerate growth for the Business Unit.
General responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate and manage business opportunities/leads in securing BD pipeline in line with financial goals
Manage research/feasibility studies/market scan, evaluate findings and prepares information for decision-making
Manage the pitching, preparation of the business proposal, negotiation process, prepare contracts, providing input on proper pricing and contract terms.
Identify upselling opportunities including Field activation service with existing clients and external clients.
Manage the onboarding of new clients and cross-functional collaboration to drive effectiveness to ensure successful integration with new clients and commercial team
Drive and coordinate activities related to Business Development capability and client/customer data management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in identifying upselling opportunities, deal negotiations and finalization of contracts
Establish relationships with potential clients with the view to enhance business opportunities
Functional skills and knowledge:
Demonstrate business development experience in applying business development principles for medium- to large-sized companies in similar industries
Demonstrate business acumen, analytical and business analysis skills
Demonstrate skills in market research and audit
Additional skills in prospecting of Clients, project management, communication, business intelligence, data analysis, building client relationship
Demonstrate ability to manage assignments and projects
Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken), Mandarin (spoken) preferably.
Education:
Degree in Business Studies/Marketing preferred
Work experience:
Minimum three to five years' experience in a similar industry, business development related work especially in sales, marketing, etc.
