Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services.

Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones employing a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability.
The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of their global operations, improve service quality via their 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standardised processes globally.
What will you do?
Project Management & planning
Independently manage small-medium business and regulatory change initiatives to completion, using standard project management techniques.
Provide project coordination support to other Project Managers within the team as required.
Work with stakeholders to develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
Manage the documentation of project risks, assumptions, dependencies and constraints.
Drive delivery of project activity by facilitating workshops and working group meetings with stakeholders, and by ensuring meetings and outcomes are sufficiently documented using RAID or equivalent logs.
Document project status accurately to ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress effectively.
Manage project communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team, etc.
and own the governance model and delivery framework (including timely updates on project risk and issues).
Define and maintain strong stakeholder management and establish formalised governance for all projects in the portfolio.
Business requirements analysis and documentation
Facilitate collaborative sessions with small to medium numbers of business stakeholders to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
Analyze and document business scope using RBC and industry-standard techniques, and work with stakeholders to gain consensus.
Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using RBC and industry-standard techniques.
Contribute to and facilitate discussions related to solutioning.
Drive requirements analysis and findings to completion, and facilitate the approval and change management processes.
Produce summary findings and recommendations at a standard appropriate for senior manager consumption.
Project delivery & implementation support
Prepare requirements for review applying various communication techniques and lead requirements walkthrough and sign off sessions.
Conduct coverage analysis to maintain the relationship between scopes, detailed requirements, testing through to implementation.
Follow standard change management processes based on RBC's delivery methodologies.
Predict and resolve conflicts/issues, and escalate as required.
Support technology SMEs in the development of Functional and User Acceptance test cases, and ensure the test case universe validates the agreed business scope.
Support design and development activities by providing requirements clarifications.
Support UAT and PIV activities such as planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues.
Support the development of new or changed end-user documentation and training.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Bachelor's degree
Exposure to, and understanding of financial services regulations across different jurisdictions in APAC
Experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with exposure to Capital Markets, Private Wealth & Brokerage, or Investor Services products, systems & services.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project skills.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills using both English (essential).
Strong commercial acumen, knowledge and understanding of Wholesale and Retail banking processes.
Strong functional knowledge/experience of Finance processes and controls.
Proven experience in delivering data and process change across Finance processes.
Nice-to-have
Project Management and/or Business Analyst certification (CBAP, PMP, Prince2).
Understanding of end-to-end data/system flows from Front Office to Back Office systems.
Knowledge of banking supervision laws and regulations.
Exposure and understanding of regulatory requirements in APAC.
