Job Overview:
Develop and prepare a business plan for Logistics to increase market share and deliver the growth strategy of the business taking cognizance of opportunities and market conditions
Grow and maintain current logistics business, identifying market opportunities and high potential clients / prospects and create and implement sales strategies to develop new business and achieve sales targets and results
Ensure through partnership with cross functional and specialisation teams, the creation of transport and logistics solutions to meet customer needs
Provide and enhance business intelligence through the establish and development of a network with potential and existing customers or key accounts
Lead logistics sales through coaching, developing and supporting sales staff especially regional sales staff in respect of technical insight in order to achieve targets and objectives aligned with overall logistics sales plan and strategy
Increase confidence in and the reputation of the business in respect of any and all stakeholders, driving brand awareness and loyalty
Develop and establish relationships with internal teams such as operations and through these partnerships ensuring a seamless and quality service being provided to the client
Requirements:
Knowledge of Sales processes
Relevant Technical and Industry experience in logistics
Relevant degree required
At least 10 years experience in logistics management and related environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
