As MMP's Assembly Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the management of one of the areas in Assembly Manufacturing Teams. Seek production execution improvement & strive for manufacturing excellence. You will be responsible for collaborating with partners (Engineering, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and all other supporting groups) and other site manufacturing teams / Backend Central team to deliver tactical solutions to meet customer demand and exceed the business plan. You will develop team member performance by coaching and mentoring team members and enabling career development.
As one of the Leaders, you will also be responsible for driving the Site's mission and enabling it to be the benchmark (based on the Site's mission), and support the site director to implement the strategy of Micron within the site.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and work with Site Leadership Team as well as Backend central team to define and drive business goals to meet Micron objectives and reinforce positive culture and system throughout the organization.
Establish a clear and effective manufacturing organization to ensure a right structure and strong leaders are in place.
Effectively own the manufacturing team through the right meeting structure and involve the right people from the cross-functional team.
Ensure clear direction, performance goals, job profiles, and expectations are established for all manufacturing team members.
Develop and track metrics regarding Manufacturing performance. Ensure plans are in place to drive key metrics to Best in class.
Build an effective budget plan and Headcount plan to ensure year-over-year improvement.
Lead and run the entire manufacturing organization to achieve/exceed the Business Plan and performance metrics.
Provide a work environment that empowers employees to creatively improve their work efficiency, instills a sense of ownership in Micron, and supports a team effort.
Provide direct leadership on critical deliverables and intensified performance items to ensure barriers are removed and correct resources are applied. Ensure timely and transparent communication with business partners if performance issues will risk business objectives.
Provide regular and structured communications to your team, including progress toward strategic objectives, Operations goals, priority projects, and company status. Ensure Team Members are well-engaged and motivated to achieve group and company objectives. Ensure subordinate managers communicate consistently and in alignment with your regular communications.
Mentor the manufacturing team, identifying and developing the pipeline of potential successors.
Provide leadership on safety management and encourage/create a culture of safety.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of managerial experience.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or a Science-related field.
Progressive levels of manufacturing or engineering management experience, at least through the department manager level.
Deep understanding and ability to lead manufacturing production daily operations.
Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
Ability to advance critical issues and connect with upper management.
Deep understanding of process and manufacturing operations matters and can prioritize cycle time, output, and product qualities for direct reports.
Proven track record as an excellent mentor, team builder, and motivator.
Validated leadership skills in the values of leadership, execution, teamwork, integrity, dedication, and continuous improvement.
Rich Semiconductor industry-related knowledge and skills.
