Job DescriptionPosition Responsibilities
Compile sales forecasts and promotional activities from BD, Marketing and Growth teams including historical data and market trends to develop an accurate demand forecast of raw materials and finished goods to ensure timely production of goods and consistent supply of products in the market.
Collaborate with Warehouse & Logistics team to optimize inventory levels, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess waste and out-of-stocks.
Recommend and implement best practices for demand planning processes and tools to analyze data, generate reports, and identify demand patterns or anomalies.
Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory performance. Generate inventory demand reports to present to management and other stakeholders.
As the lead and first hire of the demand planning team, recruit dedicated demand planners to join the growing team and provide training to get them up to speed with the ongoing processes set up by you.
Job RequirementsQualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in demand planning or inventory management, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with demand planning software/tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Able and willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
