Manager, Field Sales (Fmcg)

Job Responsibilities Manage and monitor sales teams to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectivesManage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicableDevelop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies and plans (e.g. plan sales routes, new customer generation, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territoriesAssign geographical sales territories and establish budgets.Monitor the team's key performance indicator achievements.Conduct regular reviews to provide feedback on performance gaps and requirements for improvementManage and monitor progress of sales activities, including market hygiene versus client budget and store call cycles.Implement customized solutions based on changing markets and trendsMonitor costs and provide inputs on proper pricing and contract terms to achieve targeted margins.Assist in negotiations and deal-closingIdentify product gaps and improvement opportunities based on lost sales data, customer feedback & more.Manage reporting of sales and projected sales/margin forecasts. Propose areas for customer base expansion based on market knowledgeManage continuous improvement on sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, & more.Analyze collection trends and suggest solutions for prompt paymentsManage customer issue resolutions and recommend preventive actions to minimize future incidentsDevelop and build relationships with customers to achieve business objectivesCollaborate with internal to better understand client requirements and to leverage cross-product/industry business opportunitiesJob Requirements Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing or any related disciplineMinimum 3 to 5  years sales experience in related sales FMCG environment/ Modern Trade / General Trade with managing people experiencesPeople management experience is a must.Excellent analytical skillsFluent in English, both oral and written.  Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantagePC literate – Microsoft OfficeExcellent analytical skillsExcellent presentation skillIntermediate to advance negotiation skillsProven ability to work with build and to develop multi-level relationshipsCapability to drive changePossess strong influencing/persuasiveness abilities
