Responsible for the implementation, communication, coordination, and management of all matters related to Hotel Finance for the group, including but not limited to Group Finance procedures and processes; office automation; accounting software management.
Your responsibilities will be:
Control and monitor all costs in the Hotel and Resort to ensure strict controls are in place to prevent discrepancies and shortages, complying with the Resort's SOP.
Manage all financial aspects of the resort and ensure the efficient operation of the Finance department.
Report to the General Manager regarding the selection and employment of all accounting personnel.
Maintain a system of accounts and controls necessary for all required accounting reports and statements.
Provide and maintain effective control of the hotel's assets.
Maintain accounting records.
Compile Financial Statements and Reports.
Conduct Planning and Budgetary Control.
Oversee Tax and Secretarial functions.
Scrutinize and approve all disbursement vouchers and cheques submitted for payment.
Examine and approve Daily Reports, Food and Beverage Weekly Reports, and other periodic operating and financial reports to management.
Prepare or supervise the preparation of monthly closing journal entries and Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Schedules.
To be eligible for this role, you will require:
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of overall operations and finance functions.
Able to work independently, be a good team player, and possess strong leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel is necessary.
