Responsibilities:
Oversee the Investment Operations team and handle daily fund settlements related matters.
Ensure timely processing of transactions and execution instructions are transmitted accurately to the trustees/custodians/counterpart for payments/settlements.
Ensure client instructions are processed promptly and in accordance within the agreed mandate and deadline.
Coordinate and monitor the processing of corporate action events and execution of proxy instructions as advised by fund managers.
Review various types of reports for internal or external parties.
Supervise and provide leadership to the team members in handling external and/or internal parties' queries and requests.
Assist senior management for continuous improvement and enhancement of systems.
Monitor and implement any changes in department policies and/or procedures.
Be responsible for any ad-hoc projects assigned by senior management.
Job Requirements:
Possesses Bachelor Degree in Accounting, any professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or any other equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of related working experience in fund management operations/settlements of stockbroking operations.
Preferably candidate with supervisory experience.
Good knowledge of fund management operations and unit trust industry.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Dedicated and self-motivated.
Organized and detail oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
