Job Description Ensure timely closing of accounts and preparation of management reports accurately and complete with supporting.
Ensure timely and accurate financial and commentaries reporting from regional subsidiaries.
Prepare the monthly Profit and Loss and Cashflow of the Group and provide detailed analytical review on monthly performance against budget.
Prepare and monitor the monthly consolidated cash and indebtedness for the Group.
Assist in preparation of quarterly Group consolidation report and perform analytical review on result for the quarterly board papers.
Manage cash flow of the Group and company including ensuring sufficient fund in meeting payment obligations and effectively manage idle fund.
Liaise with bank on all banking matters Liaise with external parties (tax and auditors) in resolving tax and audit matters and ensure statutory compliance.
Ensure Financial Statements of the Group are prepared in compliance with statutory accounting standards / IFRS.
Undertake various ad-hoc assignments, analysis reporting and liaise with internal and external parties on financial queries.
Requirements Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, or Professional qualification from a recognised Accountancy body Skills Required Minimum 5 years related working experience with at least 1 year in a managerial position Minimum 3 years audit experience is an added advantage Familiar with IFRS or MFRS Preferably with financial management and group consolidation experience Effective verbal and written communication skill Possess sense of urgency and committed to deliver results within tight deadlines Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP (accounting system) is an added advantage Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal
