Manager - Group Legal

Responsibilities:Draft, peruse, review and vet legal documentation including internal contracts within the Group and external agreements with service providers and customers/clients towards protecting the interests of the Group.
Coordinate with external lawyers in finalizing legal transactions / agreements of the Group whilst monitoring and supervising the progress of transactions and fulfillment of conditions.
Work with external lawyers in relation to litigation matters.
Review financing documentation and highlight issues and implications.
Review subordinates' work.
Implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work constructions as defined in the Company's Quality Management System.
Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the superior / management.
Job Requirements:MUST have Law Degree and previously a practicing lawyer.
Minimum of 6 years' experience in law firm and/or legal environment.
Advanced legal knowledge and legal research skills.
Proficient in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Pro-active and detail-oriented.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
