Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)
Report to the Senior Manager, Global HR, incumbent is one of the key personnel in integrating the HR business function towards MNC standards and Globalisation.
To support the rapid business growth, the incumbent must be able to multitask and decide/delegates in a fast-paced environment in the same capacity. He / She will provide sound advice to senior management on all related subjects in ensuring group HR functions are met and aligned with business needs and objectives.
The scope includes taking lead of training & development, develop, review and propose HR globalization strategies and management, policies, systems, processes implementations and enforcement etc. in several diverse business arms.
Responsibilities and DutiesDevelops, reviews, proposes, enhances, implements and executes new initiatives, work processes and policies to support business needs.
Ability to lead and design HR training & development, workflow, policies and processes management, performance management and compliance independently.
Support company's human factor through identifying training and development needs.
Serve as the point of contact for all local employment relations and compliance with labor laws.
Plan and coordinate HR-related procedures, systems, and devise ways to streamline processes.
Ensure smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
Responsible for employee relations by providing adequate counseling, motivation, and disciplinary actions.
Work collaboratively cross-functionally, with executive management, line managers, and overseas stakeholders to build a culture of excellence, practices, and innovations.
Facilitate organizational structure/design discussions, roll out management philosophy/corporate goals.
Maintain and improve a high-quality central global HR function, including appropriate technology, systems, and tools, using metrics and people data to inform stakeholders of key decisions.
Lead development and execution of employee engagement and retention strategies, plans, and initiatives.
Design and implement training, mentoring, development, and succession plans.
Develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, effective productivity, and high performance.
Develop and monitor a global annual budget that includes Human Resources services, employee recognition, company events, benefits, and entitlements.
Conduct continuing studies of global HR policies, programs, and practices, keeping management informed of new developments.
Establish country HR measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals.
Design and delegate periodic/monthly reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
Ensure clarity around priorities and goal settings for the entire group of businesses.
Communicate financial and goal results and key performance indicators to direct reports.
Assist in managing overall financial budgeting for HR Admin and related functions.
Work with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning.
Collaborate with peers in other groups to ensure shared goals are attained.
Facilitate goal-level creation for the broader function and work with managers to ensure goals cascade to all staff.
Incumbent shall take on the Safety Officer role in the company to oversee safety procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards to promote a culture of safety and minimize workplace hazards.
Any other ad-hoc activities tasked by the Senior Manager, Global HR.
Qualifications & RequirementsCandidate should possess at least a bachelor's degree in HR Management, Human Capital Development, Business Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of working experience in the same capacity performing international HR-related matters.
Prior experience from a related industry (such as Manufacturing or FMCG) will be advantageous.
Specific RequirementsEffectively bilingual (English, Mandarin) for effective correspondence with Mandarin-speaking internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, ability to make effective decisions, and coordinate effectively with stakeholders (local & overseas).
Able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks accurately.
Minimum traveling when required/tasked by immediate superior for business needs.
Outgoing and possess a "Can Do" attitude with good interpersonal skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
