Manager-Legal Debt Recovery

Lead and manage legal processes for debt recovery, including litigation and settlements.
Oversee enforcement actions such as garnishments, seizures, and court orders.
Supervise a team and ensure efficient case management and performance reviews.
Develop tender documents and manage contracts for legal service providers.
Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with external counsel, enforcement agencies, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor instalment plans and ensure timely payments.
Prepare and present legal reports to management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and qualified as an advocate and solicitor, admitted to the High Court of Malaysia.
Minimum 8–10 years of legal experience, preferably in utilities or regulated industries, with a proven track record in litigation and contract management.
Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law and environmental regulations.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office, and data analytics is an advantage.
