Job Responsibilities: Provide legal support and counsel to the company on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies to safeguard the company's interests.
Advise management on legal risks and implications associated with business decisions and transactions.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all business operations and advise on regulatory changes impacting the company.
Assist in managing legal disputes and litigation, coordinating with external legal counsel as necessary.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company's strategic objectives and decision-making process.
Participate in the development and training of staff on legal compliance and company policies.
Collaborate with various departments to facilitate legal strategies and initiatives that align with business goals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal best practices, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
Requirements Job Requirements: Law degree (LLB) with a valid license to practice law.
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate legal environment.
Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance regulations.
Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with teams across the organization.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
