Responsible for the operation governance to adhere to regulatory & risk requirements and timely implementation of control measures.
Be proactive to stay abreast with regulatory updates & work with business process owners in managing risk, incident, audit and compliance measures.
Facilitate and support the business units to review and provide oversight of Audit, Risk & Compliance Control Self-Assessment observations and required actions.
Establish and execute regular controls assurance/testing of key controls mitigating Operational Risks.
Provide oversight and advisory to operational standard procedures to ensure consistency in practice execution of regulatory compliance requirements.
Responsible to monitor and track existing incidents and audit activities to ensure timely closures without any further escalation.
Ensure preventive and corrective measures for incidents and audits are implemented or executed by business units.
Support operations administration function to ensure timely report submissions, meeting minuting and effective documentation.
Job Requirement
Experience in executing operations governance, compliance or risk management in insurance/financial institution.
Experience in carrying out quality assurance and audit activities.
Familiar with establishing standard operating procedures and control measures to comply with regulatory framework.
Experience in stakeholder management and influencing senior colleagues to achieve the key goals of the division.
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint; familiar with CRM systems. Knowledge of Tableau for data analysis & presentation is preferred.
Degree in Business Studies, Law, Finance, Financial Compliance or related fields.
Minimum 6 years of working experience, with at least 4 years in compliance, legal, or regulatory related roles.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; possesses business acumen and an agile mindset.
Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as LIAM and OFS.
