The role's primary objective is to offer frontline HR consultation and guidance to managers on personnel issues that affect their business operations. The candidate should possess robust, extensive knowledge and expertise in all HR facets, from organizational structuring to talent management.Key AccountabilitiesA trusted advisor to both business leaders and employees, adept at maintaining an objective balance between business priorities and employee engagement.Understand the drivers to company performance, the industry, the company value proposition and how the business retains competitive advantage in the marketplace.Works in close collaboration with business and site leadership, along with people leaders, to enhance individual and team capabilities, boost morale, improve productivity and retention, and thereby maximize organizational effectiveness.Ensures a consistent approach to HR activities, compliance with regional and global policies and legal requirements whilst adhering to local statutory requirements under employment legislation.Offers guidance and mentoring for the business in all aspects related to the execution of people-centric activities, such as annual performance evaluations, rewards, talent acquisition, and learning and development.Provides guidance and input on business unit's workforce planning and resource management.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance and coaching to managers.Facilitates and/or provides training on key annual HR areas, including induction and on-boarding of new joiners.Supports site leaders and site engagement teams in employee engagement initiatives.Lead and handle the implementation of global HR related projects by adapting and developing suitable local HR solutions.Handles employee relations cases and will be responsible to facilitate the resolution of employee relations issues, detailed objective investigations in partnership with management.Remains up-to-date with enterprise-wide People priorities and initiatives, as well as the latest external trends in both the commercial and HR sectors, which are relevant to the company's People Strategy in the given location.Passionate about the business as well as the people, drive personal development to maintain and improve knowledge and skills needed to perform at a high level.Qualifications And Experience RequiredDegree or equivalent experience qualified with well-rounded experience across a range of HR fields (HR policy application and advisory, talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, employee relations, training, rewards and compensation).Strong relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to adapt communication style to be effective at all levels.Excellent up-to-date knowledge of employment law and the application as well as impact on daily HR activities.Ability to understand and work optimally in complex multinational, multi-matrix business environments.Highly organized and focused in applying HR policies, procedures, and standards.Demonstrates good commercial acumen with excellent problem solving skillPrevious experience in handling critical employee relations.Knowledge of HR systems (e.g. Workday), and Microsoft Office applications is a must.The role will be on blended work model (3 days in the office, 2 days working remotely), providing support for all LSEG offices in Malaysia.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
