The role also involves preparing and maintaining contract templates while ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Additionally, the manager will track vendor performance through KPIs and support regional procurement initiatives across the broader Southeast Asia subregion Tasks Lead procurement activities for Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, and the Philippines, ensuring alignment with company strategies.
Support procurement leads in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia to drive regional procurement consistency.
Schedule regular supplier review meetings with high-spend vendors to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost reduction and improve operational efficiency.
Prepare, review, and maintain contract templates for Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, and the Philippines, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Track contract life-cycles, including renewals and expirations, to prevent service disruptions and ensure timely contract renegotiations.
Monitor vendor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for depots, truckers, feeders, and terminals.
Assist functional teams with Supplier Performance Evaluations Implement corrective actions for underperforming suppliers and drive continuous improvement initiatives along with Functional Managers Generate performance reports on supplier KPIs for management review and decision-making.
Ensure procurement activities adhere to sustainability goals, driving environmentally friendly and socially responsible supplier practices Provide assistance with additional Tasks with our Operations Steering Support Team Requirements Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations, preferably within the shipping liner or logistics industry Proven ability to prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and mitigating risks for the organization Experience in developing and tracking supplier performance metrics (KPIs) related to cost, service quality, and efficiency, specifically for logistics providers like depots, truckers, feeders, and terminals Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
Good knowledge of Microsoft application i.e., excel, power point SAP knowledge preferable
