Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify product gap, initiate new product proposal, develop specification and negotiate with pricing team for competitive pricing and profitability.
Design and develop marketing materials for the product launches.
Lead in product enhancements and development of new and existing products where necessary.
Co-manage together with pricing team on the development and maintenance of Benefit Illustration file/software and/or Calculators.
Lead and develop certificate contract development for new and existing products.
Conduct focus group discussions with agents, distributors, and consumers.
Conduct product comparison related to the product offerings in the market.
Continuous review and enhance product development and approval process for fast to market whilst adhering to regulation requirements.
Provide ongoing product support to agency distribution and partnership distribution in all matters related to products.
Conduct product training to staff.
Facilitate product training to Trainers/Distributors.
Keep up to date and follow the latest compliance and regulations by Bank Negara Malaysia and associations.
Guide and develop subordinates to be prepared to head the 3rd line of managerial role.
Ensure timely communication to sales personnel and staff on product launches updates.
Guide staff to analyze customer data and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
Understand purchasing behavior of customers for future development of products, personalizing customer experience and streamline operations.
Deter and mitigate risk for products which are vulnerable to moral hazard such as medical-related products.
Initiate campaign proposals, develop campaign specifications, and develop marketing materials for the campaign launches.
Job RequirementsAt least 5 years of working experience in the insurance/takaful industry, especially with product development/marketing and/or pricing.
Well-versed with Bank Negara and industry guidelines for product development and marketing.
Excellent interpersonal skills - good communication and influential skills, a team player, organized, ability to interact with all levels of management, ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Marketing, Statistics, or any other related background.#J-18808-Ljbffr
