About Us!
Regional Operations is a supporting department for the CARSOME core pillars. It ensures high-quality performance at a detailed process level, focusing on detecting process or system failures early and reporting them to the regional pillar. Management of improvement projects optimizes operational processes and systems in accordance with CARSOME's operating target agreements.
Your Day-to-Day
Lead improvement projects according to the Six Sigma approach initiated by the country team or through observations from the regional team.
Define the current status and key challenges.
Find ways to measure project results (qualitatively or quantitatively).
Plan and prioritize improvement measures.
Implement improvement measures and take corrective actions at regular intervals if actual results deviate from target results.
Travel frequency: one/two week(s) per month in Malaysia/ Indonesia/ Thailand/ Philippines.
Go to Gemba:
Be the eye on the ground for the pillar heads. Gather project-relevant information and understand the country-specific problems/requirements.
Constantly search for improvements (observations), optimizing communication flows between country and regional teams.
Define requirements and answer the questions for both sides (country/regional team): "What do we need to support you?" and "How can you support us?"
Benchmark country processes, facilitate best practice exchange, and standardize operational processes.
Identify and manage continuous improvement of methods, systems, and tools (e.g., 5S, Shopfloor, appointment booking logics, process workshops) that will help our operations teams manage capacity and deliver higher process efficiency.
Role in the country/regional ops/product workflow.
Responsible for:
Amending regional SOP.
Supporting in:
Consolidating/filtering requests.
Defining product scope.
UAT/Demo/walkthrough (support country team).
You Know-How
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. 7 years of experience in project management or operational excellence roles. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage and work with cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven track record of successfully driving and implementing process improvement initiatives. Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
