Job Description
Responsible for creating social media content, you understand the in-and-outs of how social works and what social content will appeal to consumers. You are apt in working with different teams and with external agencies to drive content strategies that are in line with our targeted audience segments. A storyteller and a creative thinker, you optimize planned campaigns, social content strategies, and regional-led social activations to address business goals and accelerate business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Drive a cohesive social media strategy to continuously build on Lazada's leadership in this space.
Conversant with the latest trends and best practices of Social Media that can be applied to e-commerce. Adapt and improve on industry best practices and content creation to become the best-in-class social media marketer.
Ensure that all approved strategies and standards of quality are consistently implemented across all channels.
Develop an aligned content strategy to achieve overall targets for interactions, reach and fanbase growth.
Drive ideation and research on content types that will drive engagement, brand affinity and positive sentiment.
Ideate social activations that achieve Lazada's business goals and improve the Social Team's performance metrics. Execute these ideas and bring them to life for targeted audiences to create meaning and bring value to our customers' everyday life.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Branding and Commercial teams to produce a cohesive and curated content calendar.
Using Social Media Analytic tools to gather insights for monitoring and optimization of overall performance.
Develop and implement a competitive monitoring plan across social channels.
Conduct detailed analysis of social engagement performance and make actionable recommendations for both short-term and long-term perspectives.
Ensure that best-in-class project management practices are employed to deliver high quality work within strategy, budget, and deadlines.
Job Requirements:
At least five (5) years of experience in overall Social Media Management with two (2) years of experience in creative Content Development/Video Production. Has a creative eye to be able to discern what is on/off brand.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
A nimble, self-directed, detail-oriented, results-focused and collaborative team player who can quickly shuffle priorities to meet the demands of the job and be comfortable in an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Possess the big idea mentality to drive connections and business growth while never losing focus on consistent execution and details.
Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and brands across various verticals simultaneously.
Familiar with digital marketing channels and how to leverage on each social media channel's strengths.
The Initiative to learn and the yearning to deliver beyond what is expected.
