Job Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities.
Set clear sales objectives and performance targets for the team.
Team Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives, sales supervisors, and sales representatives.
Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Motivate the team to meet or exceed sales goals.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
Market Expansion
Identify and pursue new sales channels, regions, or customer segments.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with distributors and retailers.
Plan and execute promotional activities and trade marketing campaigns to drive sales.
Sales Operations
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and avoid stockouts.
Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to meet demand requirements.
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track sales performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sales strategies.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
Monitor compliance with trade agreements and pricing guidelines.
Collaboration with Other Departments
Work closely with marketing to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure product-market fit.
Provide input on pricing strategies and product positioning.
