Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Shariah Reviews:Perform ongoing reviews of the bank's operations, activities, and products to ensure compliance with Shariah requirements.
Compliance Monitoring:Monitor the implementation of Shariah resolutions, guidelines, and rulings issued by the Shariah Committee and relevant authorities.
Reporting:Prepare and present reports on Shariah non-compliance findings to the Shariah Committee and other relevant internal committees.
Training and Development:Assess the level of staff awareness and knowledge of Islamic banking products and operations and conduct training sessions to enhance their understanding of Shariah principles and compliance requirements.
Policy Development:Assist in the development and enhancement of Shariah compliance policies and procedures.
Stakeholder Communication:Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and compliance with Shariah standards.
Ad-hoc Review:Perform ad-hoc reviews as requested by the Shariah Committee and Compliance Division to address urgent review needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
