Overview
Reporting to the Head of Group Business Service (GBS), the Manager – Finance (Order to Cash) will support the Group to drive the implementation and execution of strategic direction and operational requirements for the Group Business Service for the shared service functions.
Process lead for Order to Cash (OTC) to identify, lead and implement process standardizations, process optimizations and streamline current practices to deliver quality and accelerated closing processes and maximize operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
Oversee credit management to ensure timely debt collection and manage DSO in line with company goals.
Ensure the finance processes comply with global/regional standards and, where there are deviations, these are adequately substantiated.
Ensure OTC processes comply with company policy, accounting standards, and local statutory requirements.
Oversee yearly and periodic external and internal audits to prevent material adjustments due to non-compliance with accounting principles.
Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure the team meets and exceeds set targets and objectives.
Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain Management teams to resolve customer credit issues, disputes, and delinquencies in a timely and effective manner.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
Review credit risk for new applications/new customers by conducting creditworthiness checks and making credit limit recommendations, evaluating, and mitigating credit risks.
Oversee daily cash balances and liquidity for operational needs and investment opportunities.
Manage cash operations, including bank reconciliations, cash positioning, and fund transfers.
Administer and monitor banking facilities, ensuring timely debt payments, proper documentation, and compliance.
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize services and minimize costs.
Assist in developing and implementing treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Assist in preparing treasury-related reports and analyses for management discussion or presentation.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in treasury management.
Partner with the team lead for Report to Records (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Supply Chain Finance, and various cross-functional teams for all reporting, controls, and audit matters; ensure internal controls in place are in compliance with the Group's policies and procedures and constantly seek improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or Professional qualification (e.g. ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA/MICPA) or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years relevant working experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
