The role is based in Menara ExxonMobil, Kuala Lumpur.What you will doIf successful, you will represent the Business Unit in providing effective above-site manufacturing digital and data optimization support. You will be part of the team to leverage central work processes and tools and identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to grow and develop junior engineers. Key deliverables include:
Provides L3 and L4 Uniformance operations support to Manufacturing Sites, including ongoing work processes, upgrades and projects for refineries and chemical plants and utilization of plant computing related technologies.
Optimize Uniformance tool and features (including reporting) for Business teams' day-to-day decision-making process.
Digitalize Manufacturing environment (wireless technologies, electronic logbooks etc.) by working closely with Manufacturing Engineering Division on digital improvement opportunities.
Application consultancy and support across a broad portfolio of applications spanning a variety of platforms and technologies.
Data Visualization - Work with Business Teams across Refinery and Chemical sites to identify and define how data visualization can deliver business value.
Mentors junior engineers.
Partnership with Business and Key ContactsPrimary interface for remote engineering support with manufacturing Site Engineers/Site Single Point of contact.
Define and implement initiatives, upgrades and sustenance.
Establish yourself as an extended member of the site Process Control team.
Collaborate with Application Engineers to ensure applications utilization are operating at optimum level.
Maintain strong working relationship with Manufacturing Control Systems on technology roadmap, upgrades, enhancements, or initiatives.
Interface with and provide input to Global Network and Supervisor on issues and opportunities.About youSkills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
Experience with database management (SQL), Ms.Excel macros and other digital related work deliverables.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
Troubleshooting skills, innovative and analytical thinking.
Intellectual rigor, strong drive and desire to lead change.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural global team.
