JR52061 Manufacturing Shift Trainer Job Description:
As a CAT Assy Manufacturing Trainer, your primary responsibilities will be providing training; analyzing operators performance; maintaining training certifications; and fostering collaboration. You will need to fulfill area-specific responsibilities and maintain individual effectiveness. It is a requirement to balance multiple task and duties efficiently; positively handle different opinions situations; state clear, concise expectations; and offer clear explanations; and to ensure accountability of all materials in production line.
Responsibility and Tasks :
Train and Certify Team Member -Develop training plans. Use the training management system to assign, track and certify training. Gather training material and aids. Re-evaluate and modify the training plan if necessary. Verify that the team member completes certification requirements. Follow up after training and certification to ensure team member is able to perform the task independently and cope well to meet production targets and goals. Provide Production Coverage Assess production need in terms of skills of operation in the area of the shift, and to recommend cross training of operators if required in their shift. Communicate schedule changes. Provide coverage on equipment and processes. Provide Information and Feedback to Manufacturing teams, and Engineering team. Assess the need to provide information and feedback from team member to their respective supervisors and process/ equipment owners. Resolve audience for communication (be it to operators or to supporting groups such as Planning or Engineering). Resolve delivery method, usually via email to supporting groups, and verbal pass down to team members ( operators) Communicate information or direction. Follow up after delivering the information to close the feedback loop. Contribute to Manufacturing Procedures. Resolve need for procedural changes after feedback from the manufacturing team, and work closely with their respective supervisors. Seek preliminary approval for changes through supervisors to submit request for change. Communication the change upon approval. A complete any special training if necessary. Follow up after procedures have been changed. A adhere to Company rules and regulations, and Promote Safety in the Workplace. Identify and promptly report hazards. Follow safety procedures and area work rule including proper personal protective equipment and chemical safety. Ensure that equipment and tool are operated within manufactures and company guidelines. Requirements :
Education Diploma & Minimum 3 credits in O Levels or equivalent Experience 2 years experience in Manufacturing Qualifications Candidates should also have the willingness to attend meeting, demonstrate positive and supportive behavior. Candidates must be capable of working successfully in a team environment, display effective social skills when interacting with other, meet or exceed expectations on the last performance review, and have no disciplinary actions in the past six months. Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work supervised or unsupervised, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
