Primary Duties and Responsibilities: PositionSummary The Manufacturing Supervisor will manageand lead a team of operators to achieve the manufacturing goals and targets setby the organization. The manufacturing supervisor is responsible for overseeingthe day-to-day operations of the manufacturing line or department, ensuringthat manufacturing schedules are met, and maintaining the highest level of safetyand product quality.
PrimaryResponsibilities Safety Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions in the work area, promote a safe working environment. Ensure OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and local regulatory requirements are met for training, documentation and reporting. Quality Comply with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO 13485 quality system standards. Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure product integrity. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any issues. Ensure quality problems are quickly identified, contained, eliminated, and prevented from recurring. Delivery Coordinate with planning and scheduling to efficiently meet customer delivery expectations by ensuring schedules are thoughtfully coordinated. Ensure production schedules are achieved, communicate any disruptions to appropriate departments to achieve on time delivery targets. Measure and reduce changeover times. Productivity
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets. Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Measure daily work order performance and investigate all negative variances. Plan, coordinate and deliver timely on-the-job training to ensure that all operators are competent in job responsibilities pertaining to production of quality products. Optimize resource allocation, including manpower and equipment, to maximize efficiency. Drive continuous improvement efforts to eliminate waste, improve operational performance and enhance productivity. Lead and motivate a team of production workers. Required Qualifications: Education Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Printing Technology, Business Administration Studies or closely related field or equivalent. Experience Minimum 2 to 5 years' manufacturing or engineering and leadership experience; OR the equivalent combination of education and skills. Other Requirements Technical knowledge related to production processes and machinery. Experiencein manufacturing operations. Good Data Analysis, Reporting, and Process Optimization skills to identify areas for improvement and production efficiency. Experience in leading and motivating the team with excellent interpersonal, communication and team and stakeholder management skills. Experience taking care of compliance, safety protocols & quality control measures.
