Position: 
Manufacturing Warehouse & Logistic Manager (Location: Penang, Malaysia)
Report to: Operations Director, Sub-region Southeast Asia
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all Warehouse & logistic operations, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products. This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained, safety protocols are followed, and that the warehouse operates efficiently to meet production schedules and customer demands.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials and products.Implement and optimize warehouse & logistic processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Develop and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and zero loss.Supervise and train warehouse staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.Schedule and manage workforce & transporter to meet production demands and quarterly fluctuations.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.Promote a culture of safety, addressing any hazards or incidents promptly.Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to warehousing.Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs & implement just-in-time to reduce excess stock.Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and safety metrics.Able to implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process, utilizing tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.Any other tasks assign by superior as deem necessary from time to time. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.EXPERIENCEAt least 5 year(s) of proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.LANGUAGESEnglish,Bahasa Melayu, Chinese, and other languages are added advantages.  SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
Well-versed with proven ability with MS Office.Knowledge in ERP & WMS system.Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex engineering drawing & business documents.A conscientious and self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and tight deadlines independently.Possess strong problem solving, analytical, leadership and decision-making skills. Good learning ability, ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Energetic, can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Possess of MHE operating certificate or license id added advantages. HEALTH AND SAFETYPractice, safeguard, and promote the Nefab Code of Conduct, mission statement, and values in terms of health and safetyCoordinate and ensure all health and safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to, regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.Ensure company meets its statutory obligations in all area pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work including statutory training and reporting.Ensure completion and regular review of risk assessment for all work equipment and operations.Ensure all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills/or fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.Ensure full and accurate health and safety training records are maintained.To prepare management review report and provide regular reports to management team on relevant health and safety activities.ENVIRONMENTPractice, safeguard, and promote the Nefab Code of Conduct, mission statement, and values in terms of environment obligation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO13485, UN certification, RBA or Code of Conduct knowledge are preferable.
