This includes assisting with company registration changes, qualification applications, licensing applications, daily operational contract reviews, and/orlabor compliance consultations.Conduct compliance assessments, draft, negotiate, and finalize terms and conditions, as well as commercial contracts for various products targeting the Philippines market.Assist in handling consumer disputes, litigation, and crisis such as responding to regulatory investigations, inspections by authorities and assisting in PR incident responses)in Philippines.Establish and optimize legal systems and processes, while providing internal compliance training.Drive the localization of global compliance projects and undertake other tasks assigned by the team.Protect, defend and represent the company in external engagements with government authorities, regulators, and other external partiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, develop and execute strategies to accomplish company's business objectives while maintaining legal compliance.Monitor, analyse and advise on applicable local laws and regulations relating to data privacy and protection and their impact on local operationsWhat you'll Need to SucceedHold a bachelor's degree or above and called to the bar in Philippines; At least 8-10 years of experience in a law firm and in house corporate environment within a fast paced environment with prior exposure to international assignments being advantageous.Ideally with at least one IAPP certification. CIPM or CIPP/E is preferred.Exhibit strong cross-team, cross-department communication, and organizational collaboration skills.Self-starter, able and willing to independently conduct research on a wide range of legal and regulatory developments.Experience or strong interest in Technology, E-commerce platform or Online Travel Agency industry is preferred.Possess proficiency in spoken and written English and TagalogWhy Trip.com GroupWe offer a stage to unleash your full potential and drive global impact.
