Marketing Communications InternThe Marketing Communications Intern plays a vital role in supporting the marketing and communications team in various activities to promote the organisation's products, services, and brand. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in marketing, communications, and branding strategies within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn how to create compelling content, manage marketing campaigns, and execute communication plans to enhance brand awareness and engage target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:
Assist in creating and editing engaging content for different channels, such as social media, websites, emails, blogs, and marketing materials
Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates the organisation's message and value proposition.
Digital Marketing and Social Media:
Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns and digital assets creation.
Monitor social media channels and compile the data for analytics purposes.
Marketing Campaign and Event Support:
Aid in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across the various platforms.
Collaborate with team members to track campaign performance and analyse key metrics.
Assist in organising and promoting events, tradeshows, and other promotional activities.
Help in the development of event materials and coordination of logistics.
Branding and Design:
Contribute to the maintenance of brand consistency by following brand guidelines in all communications.
Assist in the creation of visual content and graphics for marketing purposes.
Analytics and Reporting:
Help gather and analyse data to evaluate marketing efforts and provide insights for improvement.
Generate reports to summarise campaign performance and present findings to the team.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a course in marketing, communications, business, journalism or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Passionate about social media and digital content marketing.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Designing programmes.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
