The position is based in our Penang Office in Malaysia.
Job Overview Manage each project from pre to post event set-ups, including marketing and out-reach programs to enhance traffic flow.
Key Responsibilities Responsible in organizing mall events from planning to execution (pre-publicity/ set-ups/ on-going/ post) and work within targeted revenue/ approved expenseKeep abreast with industry trends and organize new and bespoke eventsPromote and liaise with tenants and exhibitors to organize marketing eventsLiaise with relevant authorities for events' approvalSource and work with the suppliers and contractors to execute marketing events and promotional activitiesMaintain liaison with media to promote events and activities to drive traffic flowResponsible to handle invitation/ release/ relationships and general comments and feedback from different channelsTo plan, implement and monitor the mall's digital platforms including social media to create brand awareness, promote marketing efforts and exposuresAchieve set target of monthly income for mall wideUndertake any other ad-hoc accounting assignment required by superior Requirements A Diploma in any related disciplineA minimum of 2-3 years working experience in marketing/ event managementProficient in English and Bahasa MalaysiaPossess social media and digital marketing skillsPleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skillsPossess event organizing skills
