Here's how you can help
The lab's function is to provide analysis and test support to the operations team, assist with regular production monitoring, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and develop new testing methods to meet evolving process or technology requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct daily reliability test data analysis and reporting, including failure analysis (FA) for abnormal data.
Study and optimize test criteria based on product design.
Oversee machine/tooling buy-off, standardization, tool maintenance, and spare parts management.
Tool optimization and new tool preparation to meet new product/technology requirements.
Collaborate with the worldwide team to ensure consistent testing correlation.
Support other function teams for key projects.
Maintain proper documentation of work processes and procedures.
Communicate timely and effectively with relevant stakeholders.
Coach and guide technicians and operators.
REQUIRED:
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
SKILLS:
Experience in the disk drive industry is an added advantage.
Expertise in data analysis and problem-solving.
Proficient in quality control skills, including the use of 7QC tools, MSA, SPC, 8D reports, DOE, etc.
Familiar with reporting and data analysis software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, JMP).
Detail-oriented, action-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to deliver high-quality solutions.
Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members and excellent communication skills.
