Material Engineer

Qualifications : - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, with 2 years related experience.- Fresh graduate can be considered for Associate Level Requirements : - Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment- Strong analytical skills, creative, hardworking, modest and good teamwork- Strong verbal and written communication skills to exchange project related information with appropriate team members- Knowledge in SAP would be an advantage Job Descriptions : - Establishes an adequate evaluation and inspection system to monitor and assure incoming materials quality. - Facilitates communication link and provides quality feedback to suppliers as a means to resolve recurring piece-part quality problems to attain long term quality improvement and assurance of supply. - Investigates use of substitute / alternate materials to achieve cost savings.- To trigger data collection and obtain material composition data for supplier / manufacturer- Archive and maintain the supplier composition data and reference documents in the system (SAP-SPRC)- To work with division product engineer, material engineer to resolve data integrity issue such as missing AML, wrong manufacturer, No manufacturer contact and etc- Refresh the aging data with supplier/ manufacturer every 4 years.
