The Impact You'll MakeAs a Material Handler at Lam, you play a crucial role in the efficient coordination of materials from shipping and receiving to storing and distributing. Your attention to detail in checking and processing goods, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate records are essential to Lam's commitment to operational excellence.
What You'll DoPerform a variety of task (physical or administrative) involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and fulfillment of merchandise, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Review and manage customer orders, including labeling materials, recording locations, managing distribution of products within inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
Complete material transactions in SAP, perform cycle counts, create non-conformance reports, and close required tasks.
Prepare products for shipment, including oversight of crating of outbound material, arranging for nonstandard crating, and finished goods packaging and loading.
Operate and maintain material handling equipment such as trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment.
Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures.
Who We're Looking For2-4 years of related experience with a Technical Certificate or Diploma.
Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Foundational computer skills including use of warehouse management software (WMS) such as SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks for extended periods including moving materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
Preferred QualificationsMaterial handling experience is preferred.
Material handling equipment (MHE) trained or certified – Forklift preferred.
Associates Degree in a related field is nice to have.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
