Material Planner

Plan, execute and control all packaging material scheduling and stocks in order to meet the company's objectives.
Key AccountabilitiesExecute the material plans to ensure proper replenishment of stocks for production use.
Review and maintain planning tools as required.
Control inventory to match with plans and consumption.
Prepare and supply performance indices covering movements, consumption and delivery.
Coordinate packaging material change with other related departments namely QA, Purchasing, Production and Warehouse.
Provide support for Bill of Material stability study and data collection.
Liaise with Occupational Safety & Health Department on ISO 14001 related documentations and practices in improving environmental management systems including appointment as internal auditor.
Key DecisionFull authority on decision making is available on these subjects:Preparation and execution of packaging material plans.
Rescheduling of materials delivery.
Liaison with suppliers on delivery.Contribute in the decision making process in following areas:MRP2 improvements.
New product introduction.
Packaging material change.CapabilitiesAnalytical and strategic skills.
Regulatory requirements & standards for medical devices.
Product / Material knowledge.
Qualifications and ExperiencesDiploma or Degree holder in Mathematics, Statistics, Economy or Business Studies.
Minimum 2 year's experience in manufacturing, logistic project or material environment.
Knowledge in PC software's like Excel, Words etc.

Knowledge in basic techniques or concept of MRP is essential.
