Responsibilities:• Manage customer demand changes.• Control inventory, including setting up safety stock and disposing of excess materials.• Provide material simulations for rush orders and new product introductions (NPI).• Develop solutions for material shortages and gating parts.• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO), including cost and effective date communication to the team.• Assist the purchasing team in releasing Purchase Requisitions (PR) accurately and on time.• Ensure full kits of materials are available and on-time delivery (OTD) is achieved.• Develop and provide monthly (MPS), weekly (WPS), and daily (DPS) production schedules based on customer requirements, material availability, and capacity limits for machines and manpower.• Oversee daily production planning to ensure delivery meets customer requirements and production goals are achieved with good quality, high efficiency, balanced capacity, and on-time delivery.• Continuously improve and optimize production planning to meet customer on-time delivery and provide flexible service.• Ensure accurate and timely entry and maintenance of ERP data, including item part numbers, Bills of Materials (BOM), and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).• Perform other ERP transactions as required.• Manage Purchase Orders (PO) and supplier relationships.• Escalate critical items as necessary.• Conduct materials simulation for production schedules and internal delivery plan tracking for Key Account Managers (KAM) and Customer Service (CS) periodically, identifying shortages and working with purchase executives and KAM to find solutions.• Confirm new customer orders within 3 working days, ensuring accuracy between customer orders and shop orders, running MRP, and informing purchase executives to issue new purchase orders to suppliers in a timely manner.• Review lead times, safety stock, and obsolete parts periodically with purchase executives and KAM, providing safety stock proposals for long lead time parts and highlighting excess to customers.• Control inventory, turnover, and slow-moving reports monthly, generating excess reports and working with purchase executives to find solutions.• Communicate and coordinate with relevant departments and personnel to meet targets.• Perform other daily tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
