About the role
As a Material Quote Analyst at BizLink Technology (S.E.A) Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in providing strategic support to the sales team. This full-time position is based in Seberang Perai, Penang, and involves analysing material requirements and generating competitive quotes to help the company secure new business.
What you'll be doing Evaluate material specifications and requirements for potential projectsResearch and analyse pricing and availability of relevant materials from suppliersPrepare comprehensive and accurate product quotes based on material costs, logistics, and other relevant factorsCollaborate closely with the sales team to ensure quotes are aligned with customer needs and market conditionsMaintain and update the company's pricing database to support future quoting activitiesProvide regular reporting and analysis on material pricing trends and market dynamicsAssist with other ad-hoc sales and operations support tasks as requiredWhat we're looking for Proven experience as a sales or pricing analyst, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong understanding of material procurement processes and costing methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify cost-effective solutionsProficient in the use of spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) for data analysis and reportingGood communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholdersFamiliarity with sales and customer relationship management tools and practicesDegree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, or economicsAbout us
