Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Math Teacher. (Potentially to work from home (WFH) after 6 months of employment and upon meeting specific performance criteria.)Note: This is a full-time role. We are not offering part-time or flexible hours for this position.
The teacher will be responsible for delivering lessons based on Think Academy's curriculum (all teaching materials will be provided), conducting regular lessons, providing one-on-one teaching services, and maintaining effective communication with students and parents.
The primary teaching language will be in English.
Qualifications:
Language Proficiency:Fluent in English (with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written forms). The ideal candidate should articulate ideas clearly without barriers to understanding, ensuring smooth communication with students and colleagues, and proficient in Mandarin – both written and spoken.
Bachelor's Degree:or higher. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
Preferred Majors:Open to all majors, with a preference for Education or STEM-related fields.
Teaching Experience:Prior experience in teaching mathematics is not required but is a plus. Experience in teaching or participating in elementary math competitions is also beneficial.
Passion for Education:Highly passionate about teaching and the education industry, with a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine love for working with children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with students and parents.
Availability:Must be available and willing to work late evenings (online) and weekends.
