Job Title: Mechanic (RM3,500-RM4,500)
Location: Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang, Johor
Industry:Oil and gas exploration service in Malaysia
The Mechanic reports to the TS Assistant Manager & Operations Manager on daily operational activities.
The Mechanic also reports to the Operations Manager on maintenance and repair of all company machineries/equipment according to maintenance schedules.
Responsibilities:
Upkeep and maintenance of all equipment under the supervision and instructions of the TS Assistant Manager & Operations Manager
Execution of all systems, equipment and plants' scheduled maintenance and repair works
Defect diagnosis on hydraulic and electrical systems is required
Update repair and maintenance records for all systems, equipment and plants
Promote correct usage of systems, equipment and plants in accordance to company policy, manufacturer's recommended practices, local and international laws and regulations
Any ad-hoc tasks assigned
Requirements:
Minimum certificates in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
1 to 2 years relevant working experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems within marine/offshore industry
Lift/carry spare parts
Meticulous and independent individual, with sense of initiative and able to work under minimal supervision
