Mechanical Drafter

Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team.
The successful candidate will work alongside our mechanical engineering team to create computer models for mechanical design analysis, documentation for the verification and accuracy of all deliverables, and provide project and functional support.Responsibilities:Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate 3D models for mechanical engineering analysisCreate and maintain project documentation in compliance with Steelcase quality standardsSupport mechanical engineers and other team members in achieving goals and objectivesParticipate in professional development activities, including educational and certification courses, to remain up-to-date in all related disciplinesProvide technical assistance and influence peers positivelyRequirements:High level of proficiency with CAD software (Creo) for mechanical modelingAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or draftingAbility to work collaboratively with other team members and work independently with minimal directionProven communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with Steelcase quality standards is a plusQualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
