Mechanical Drafter

Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our mechanical engineering team to create computer models for mechanical design analysis, documentation for the verification and accuracy of all deliverables, and provide project and functional support.
Responsibilities:
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate 3D models for mechanical engineering analysis Create and maintain project documentation in compliance with Steelcase quality standards Support mechanical engineers and other team members in achieving goals and objectives Participate in professional development activities, including educational and certification courses, to remain up-to-date in all related disciplines Provide technical assistance and influence peers positively Requirements:
High level of proficiency with CAD software (Creo) for mechanical modeling Associate's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or drafting Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and work independently with minimal direction Proven communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Steelcase quality standards is a plus Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
