Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you'll play a key role in delivering engineering solutions across mechanical, controls, hydraulic, fire, and fuel services. Your expertise will guide projects from initial feasibility and scoping through design, site inspection, commissioning, and facilities management. You'll also support the lead fire and hydraulic engineer and provide presales support as needed.
Candidates from engineering consultancy background or those with experience in critical infrastructure are welcomed to apply! What will you do:
Lead engineering efforts across mechanical, controls, hydraulic, fire, and fuel systems, while supporting other disciplines as needed. Utilize Revit-MEP BIM for design production and review. Develop energy modeling to enhance project efficiency. Manage design consultants to ensure compliance with NEXTDC specifications. Create detailed scope and brief documents tailored to specific areas of expertise. Conduct Total Cost of Ownership analyses and offer strategic recommendations. Oversee construction site inspections and commissioning, while providing ongoing facilities management support.Perform concept & schematic design and/or review Perform detail design and/or review Provide support to the Sales team as required
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree qualification in Engineering - Mechanical Experience in energy modelling (desirable)Chartered professional engineer (desirable)Specialized in mechanical, controls, hydraulic, and fire services engineering for mission-critical data centres or hospital, semiconductor, other mission critical facilityProficient in creating precise, fully coordinated Revit-MEP models. Skilled in developing energy models and conducting cost analysis. Possess strong attention and an eye for detail in all engineering tasks. Excellent communicator, able to convey design principles and recommendations to diverse stakeholders. Well-versed in industry standards and their practical applications.
