Responsibilities:Responsible for all mechanical designs, production layout, cycle time, packaging and including fixture & jig.
To define process requirement per customer workmanship standards.
Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies.
To define new process flow & process capabilities to meet project scope.
To plan & design new product requirement / set-up requirement for new product development.
Study industrial processes to determine where and how application of equipment can be made.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, and assembling.
Interface with suppliers during product development to expedite and coordinate part deliveries and resolve design issues with suppliers.
Designs operations layouts to improve material flow and material presentation.
Ensure compliance of the company quality system for Mechanical Engineering department.
Ensure all process set in accordance with customer requirement & industry acceptable standard.
Support department manager in the preparation of all required reports on monthly as well as weekly basis.
Interpret and convert customer documents into SMTT process documents.
Assist department manager in delegating tasks to subordinates.
Identify productivity opportunities through lean manufacturing and operational excellence methods.
Pro actively drive and implement the process and productivity improvement plans from time to time in order to achieve the department manager set target / department KPIs target.
Continuously review and improve the product quality system.
Requirements:Candidate must possess at least Diploma /Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in mechanical designs filed.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Familiar with IPC standards and SMT assembly processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English.
