On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled and detail-orientedMechanical Static/HVAC Inspectorto oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of mechanical static equipment and HVAC systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of performance, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, verify, and assess the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical static equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks) and HVAC systems.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards for mechanical static and HVAC equipment.
Monitor and evaluate welding, piping, and mechanical assembly processes to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
Conduct inspections and tests on HVAC systems, including ductwork, chillers, air handling units, and ventilation systems, to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, including non-conformance reports (NCRs), and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and quality control teams to address any identified issues.
Verify and ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry codes, and client requirements.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and pre-commissioning inspections.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of inspection activities and results.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in inspecting mechanical static equipment and HVAC systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, API, ISO, and SMACNA.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and static equipment inspection techniques, tools, and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certification in inspection (e.g., API 510, 570, or HVAC-related certifications) is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
