Mechanical Technician (6 Months Contract)

Position:Mechanical Technician
Duration:6 months contract (Renewable and Convertible based on performance and client)
Basic:starting RM1900 - RM2100 (Negotiable)
Allowances:Transportation RM200 & Meal RM150
Working days:Monday to Friday
Working hours:7am/7pm - 7pm/7am (OT 3 hours per day)
Shift type:Rolling
ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of workshop technology covering welding, fabrication processes, machine and hand tools, measuring instruments.
Able to drive forklift and hold the necessary license would be an advantage but not essential.
Sound fault finding techniques.
Knowledge of operating and maintenance principles of mechanical plant and machinery.
Be able to read engineering drawings.
Machining background would be an advantage but not essential.
Basic knowledge of electrical technology, principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Good installation practices.
Excellent communication, numeracy skills and basic computer skills.
Knowledge of written and spoken English.
RequirementMinimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing environment.
Cert/Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering.
Exposure in heavy engineering environment.
Fresh graduate can be considered.
