Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Doctor to join our team for a pioneering e-health system. The ideal candidate will not only provide exceptional medical care remotely but also possess a strong customer service mindset, ensuring that patients receive personalized attention and support throughout their teleconsultation experience. This role encompasses delivering high-quality care, fostering positive patient interactions, supporting pharmacists with medical advice, and actively participating in data analysis to enhance service excellence.
Job Responsibility 1. Patient-centred Teleconsultation Services: Conduct teleconsultations with a focus on empathy, active listening and patient engagement within the scope of duties and responsibilities of a Medical Doctor.Provide accurate medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.Ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction through effective communication and empathy.Safeguards the rational prescribing of drugs, diagnostics and laboratory tests.Analyse and provide medical advice based on laboratory test reports. 2. Vaccination Support and Preventive Care: Actively participate in vaccination and preventive care events organized by the company, promoting immunization and preventive health measures.Provide medical guidance and support during vaccination events, addressing patient inquiries and ensuring safe administration.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement preventive health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes.3. Referral Management: Identify cases requiring specialist care or additional medical attention and facilitate timely referrals.Collaborate closely with other healthcare professional (e.g. pharmacist, dietician, nurses etc.), specialists and healthcare facilities to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.4. Pharmacist Collaboration and Training: Offer prompt and comprehensive medical guidance and advice to pharmacists, assisting with disease-related or medication-related queries and concerns.Serves as the primary point of contact and a trusted resource for pharmacist-referred cases, providing expert guidance and support. 5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Engage in regular data analysis to evaluate service performance and patient satisfaction. Contribute insights and recommendations based on data findings to enhance service quality and efficiency. Assist in generating reports for doctor KPIs, including consultation volumes, waiting time, patient feedback and satisfaction. 6. Any other related duties as assigned by the Management
Job Requirements: Candidate must possess at least Bachelors's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Medicine or equivalent.Candidates must be registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and has a valid practicing certificate (APC).At least over 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Proven experience in telemedicine or teleconsultation services preferred.Proficiency in digital healthcare technologies and mobile applications.Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly and empathetically.Collaborative mindset with a dedication to working effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service and patient-centred care.Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Shift working hours is required, including alternate Sat & Sun.
